I am a volunteer at the YWAM base in Lakeside, Montana. I’m working this fall with a school for graduates of the School of Biblical Studies program called the Titus Project. We travel to teach the inductive method of Bible study to pastors and leaders as well as students in other YWAM Schools internationally. Lord-willing, I will lead a small team to Russia this fall. We hope to work with YWAM in Moscow, Perm, and Rostov, and travel to a town in Siberia called Tomsk where we will work with local churches.

Next year (2014) I plan on working with DTS Equip. In DTS Equip we aim to provide a resource-rich environment where  leaders & staff are equipped in character, skills and Spirit, so that students and programs worldwide may benefit and develop according to their individual and corporate callings.

The school is running yearly every July in Montana, and has been planted in Cambodia and Ukraine. We are hoping for more multiplication as the Lord leads in the coming year.

What is YWAM?

Youth With A Mission is an international volunteer movement of Christians from many backgrounds, cultures and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. Also known as YWAM (pronounced “WHY-wham”), our purpose is simply to know God and to make Him known.

When YWAM began in 1960, our main focus was giving young people opportunities to demonstrate the love of Jesus to the whole world, according to His command in Mark 16:15. Today, we still focus on youth, but we have members (known as “YWAMers”) of almost every age and many of our short-term efforts have grown into long-term endeavors that have impacted lives and nations.

YWAM has a decentralized structure that encourages new vision and the exploration of new ways to change lives through training, conveying the message of the gospel, and caring for those in need. We are currently operating in more than 1000 locations in over 180 countries, with a staff of over 18,000.
